The International Journal of Behavioral Social and Movement Sciences (IJOBSMS) follows a strict double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and research integrity. The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, and confidential review system for all submitted manuscripts.

Double-Blind Peer Review

IJOBSMS follows a double-blind peer review model in which:

  • The identities of authors are not disclosed to reviewers.
  • The identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

This ensures impartial evaluation and reduces potential bias during the review process.

Initial Editorial Screening

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess:

  • Relevance to the aims and scope of the journal
  • Compliance with author guidelines and formatting requirements
  • Ethical compliance and publication standards
  • Plagiarism and similarity check

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned to authors or rejected before peer review.

Reviewer Selection

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers are selected based on:

Authors are required to address reviewer comments carefully and submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers. If necessary, revised manuscripts may be sent for re-evaluation.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose, share, or use unpublished information for personal or professional purposes.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers and editors must declare any conflicts of interest. Individuals with conflicts that may affect impartiality must withdraw from the review process.

Misconduct Policy

Any attempt to manipulate the peer review process is considered serious misconduct. This includes:

Confirmed misconduct may result in rejection and notification to relevant authorities.
